Every Techdesi review starts the same way: we buy it, we use it, we tell you the truth.
No review units we're afraid to criticize. No rankings quietly bumped for a sponsor. When something's sponsored, it says so — right at the top, not buried in the fine print.
How a product gets on this site
We buy every product we recommend, using our own budget, the same way a reader would. We don't accept review units from brands for anything that ends up in a ranking — a unit sent for early access gets used, but never ranked until we've separately verified it against a retail unit we paid for.
How long we test
A minimum of one week for anything with daily use — phones, earbuds, watches. Larger purchases like TVs and laptops get at least two weeks, covering a full range of real use: gaming, streaming, work calls, and the kind of casual multitasking most reviews skip entirely.
How we handle sponsorships
Some content on Techdesi is sponsored — a brand pays for visibility on a specific piece. That content is labeled clearly at the top, before you start reading. It never influences our rankings, comparison tables, or "Techdesi Pick" badges, which are decided independently by whoever ran the testing.
How we make money
Techdesi is reader-supported. Many links on this site are affiliate links — if you buy through one, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which product we recommend first; it only changes how we keep the lights on.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the bottom of the piece with the date it was made. If you've spotted an error, contact us and we'll look into it.
